Saute onion and garlic with oil in large skillet until onion is yellow. Add ground beef, salt, paprika and chili powder. Brown meat. Drain kidney beans, reserving 1/2 cup liquid. Stir in bean liquid, tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar and pepper sauce. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add kidney beans; simmer 15 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Serves 6.
